Job Description: Job Title: Loan Governance and Execution - Strategic Corporate Lending (SCL) Corporate Title: Associate - Vice President Location: Jacksonville, FL or New York, NY (ALL ROLES TO BE CONSIDERED) Overview: Strategic Corporate Lending (SCL) provides lending governance and oversight to EUR 100bn+ of relationship lending exposure across both Investment Grade and High Yield multinational corporations and non-bank financial institutions. Its regional teams drive the internal business selection using a range of quantitative (RoRWA and RoCRD4 balance sheet) and qualitative metrics, culminating in a review of the lending proposal at a regional forum that includes coverage and product across the Corporate Bank and Investment Bank along with SCL senior management. This ensures optimal investment of balance sheet and capital across the client base. Post-closing of the loans, the teams foster ongoing accountability and disciplined delivery of the promised franchise revenues via quarterly portfolio reviews and client deep dives. What You'll Do: Responsible for the management and processing of loan requests from Deutsche Bank's current and prospective clients including compiling and understanding the necessary information to accurately model and price the profitability of these transactions to present to the regional business selection forum and working across a range of coverage, product line and infrastructure partners, including credit, legal and Know Your Customer, to ensure deadlines are met and the transactions are executed appropriately. Responsible for assisting in the analysis of Deutsche Bank's lending portfolio including an in-depth understanding and knowledge of their respective industry sectors/clients as well as ongoing reviews on profitability of portfolio and capital. How You'll Lead: Close partnership with corporate banking and investment banking coverage, as well as product teams across the Bank to evaluate capital investments driving franchise opportunities. Skills You'll Need: Self-motivated and flexible, to align to the ever-changing needs and timelines of our clients. Highly numerate with strong familiarity with banks' financial resource requirements. Comfortable quickly learning and applying new concepts. Able to work collaboratively with colleagues across the Bank. A strong ability to multi-task whilst maintaining clinical attention to detail. Skills That Will Help You Excel: Internationally recognized degree qualification. Knowledge on syndicated loan market, banking products and corporate finance markets. Strong Excel and data analytics skills. Strong oral and written communication skills. Expectations: It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in either the Jacksonville, FL or New York, NY office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model. The salary range for this position in Jacksonville, FL is $55K to $165K and New York, NY is $80K to $200K. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
