Base pay range $75,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr About REBNY: The Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) is a not-for-profit trade association that works to protect, improve, and advance the business of real estate in New York City. REBNY has over 15K members and a staff of 50 people, led by an executive team that reports to REBNY's Board of Governors, which is comprised of the leaders of the New York real estate industry. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in shaping the way our company is perceived by key audiences. You will drive brand awareness by being involved in all stages of the communications process from concept to message development to result oriented evaluation. Responsibilities: Manage communications for several REBNY teams and use all communications channels: press releases, social media, member emails and internal communications to drive REBNY's value to our members. Develop, manage and execute weekly membership-related communications content, campaigns, and special projects, including weekly newsletters and daily correspondence. Draft and distribute press releases, media statements, bylines and other media relations materials. Work with consultants and vendors to ensure deliverables are met and senior leadership is updated. Analyze, maintain, and strategically deploy communications data to advance REBNY's goals. Support the communications team with media inquiries, ad hoc projects and initiatives. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree is required. Minimum three (3) - five (5) years relevant experience in communications, marketing, advertising or social media, with agency, media and/or government experience preferred. Good judgement, incredible attention to detail and exceptional writing skills required. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in politically sensitive and high-pressure environments. Note: A portfolio of work products, including writing samples, will be required.
