Position Summary: Pink Chicken is looking for an experienced creative Social Media & Events Associate/ Manager to join our growing team in New York City. This team member must have a passion for storytelling and bringing a brand's vision to life through social media. At the heart of Pink Chicken is our community, so connecting with and engaging with them is top priority. Responsibilities: Social Media Daily management of all social media platforms and tools"” creating fun and innovative material, posting, re-posting, scheduling, engagement, and jumping on social trends and topics (primarily Instagram, Pinterest and exploring TikTok). Create, manage and maintain a social media calendar that aligns with the brand's marketing calendar. Respond to all social media comments and direct messages in an on-brand manner. Be always up to date with the current trends and best practices in social media. Form new and maintain existing relationships with influencers and tastemakers. Frequent visits to our retail stores to get content and create compelling posts/reels from these visits. Analyze monthly social media reporting to understand community engagement. Support Director of Marketing and Sr Marketing Consultant with consistent research and outreach for brand partnerships. Events & Store Support Create and maintain retail events calendar, as well as track associated expenses. Work with our Store Managers to enhance our in-store engagement with monthly retail events across all stores. Research and work with vendors to facilitate events. Attend photoshoots and brand events to capture content. Work closely with our outside PR team to ensure they have all necessary assets. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field. 2-5 years of experience managing a brand's social media account. Deep understanding and love for the social media landscape. Strong communication, multitasking and analytical skills. Ability to analyze and interpret social data. A dedicated team player with a fun and outgoing demeanor. Ability to Travel up to 10-15%. Compensation: The annual total cash compensation range is $65,000 to $78,000. However, actual pay can vary based on a candidate's qualifications.
