This opening will mark the resurgence of luxury nightlife experiences in New York with dynamic food and beverage venues and programming that will make Faena the ultimate destination for the sophisticated traveler to New York. Job Overview The Senior Marketing Manager will be part of the pre-opening team and will conceptualize, develop, execute and monitor all Faena New York-related communication with consumer markets, and media in mind. Under the leadership of the Director of Sales and Marketing, this role oversees on-brand messaging to local, national and international consumers through traditional, digital, and social media channels all with the goal of shaping and elevating the brand of Faena New York. This role builds strategic Public Relations plans, targeted campaigns, and social media content to drive consumer awareness, support sales initiatives, and build broader brand awareness. The Senior Marketing Manager will focus on showcasing and supporting the hotel's internal clients (Food and Beverage, Spa, Special Events, Sales, etc.) programs and promotions, across local, regional, national and international media and consumers. They will act as the spokesperson for the hotel when internal partners are unavailable; oversees and further develops crisis communications in accordance with Public Relations agency; and ensures all public information is developed and properly communicated to support the business. Success will be measured by how well they help drive the sales and revenue strategy of the property, support social media growth and engagement and how resources are effectively leveraged to create truly compelling marketing and communications campaigns. Duties and Responsibilities Work closely with the Director of Sales and Marketing on all communications related functions Oversee strategic marketing and communications for Faena New York, including for El Secreto and La Cava, The Living Room, Tierra Santa Healing House, and integrate Faena Art efforts into brand messaging and communications Oversee strategic messaging and public relations efforts See beyond the basic marketing functions and look at interesting ways to share the Faena brand Monitors activities of competitive hotels and industry trends Develops the annual communications and strategy plan. Responsible for integrating and collaborating efforts with Director of Sales & Marketing, Creative Department, PR Agency, Faena New York Outlet Department Heads, Faena Art Prepares working plans to achieve goals and ensures the operations team is briefed on goals and progress Oversees media and influencer requests and executes with internal operations teams. Collaborate with Food & Beverage team for menu edits and distribution across all channels (QR code, website, Google, Yelp, TripAdvisor, OpenTable, In-room-iPads) Plans and executes all photography and videography for earned, owned and paid channels, ensuring digital content and locally produced collateral is aligned to brand standards. Promotes and complies with all hotel policies and procedures. Be familiar with all hotel services, features and local attractions and or activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately. Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures and standards. Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in marketing, preferably in luxury hospitality Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience Advanced written and verbal skills (bi-lingual a plus) Advanced knowledge of CRM tools and email marketing strategy/development (intermediate-to-advanced knowledge of SEO/SEM a plus) Advanced knowledge of all social media channels and scheduling tools Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, negotiating, listening, analytical and conflict resolution skills Solid understanding of the creative process, with intermediate-to-advanced knowledge of Adobe Suite programs Solid understanding of project management, including the ability to identify and resolve issues, manage risk, run team meetings and allocate resources Strong mentorship and team management skills Self-organized with excellent time management skills Physical Demands and Work Environment Endure various physical movements throughout the work areas Ability to move safely in uneven terrain or in confined spaces Remain active, constantly moving, or prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer throughout work shift or prolonged standing for a period Medium Work: Exerting up to 40 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of constantly moving objects, may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
