Position Overview: Under the supervision of the Mosquito Control Field Operations Manager, the Pesticides Record Coordinator will monitor, process, and distribute data related to pesticide applications in Field Operations. Duties & Responsibilities: * Conducts post-assessments of larviciding and adulticiding pesticide applications daily and enters findings into the Mosquito and Vector Control Division (MVCD) database. * Inputs Ultra Low Volume (ULV), Larvicide, and Environmental Assessment data into the Harris County Pesticide Application database and ensures accuracy of data. * Assist Field Operations Manager in maintaining ULV database and ensures accuracy of data. * Assists with ULV applications at night as required. * Performs larvae inspections during periods of low disease risk. * May assist other Mosquito Vector Control sections as required. * Other duties as assigned including special tasks involved in responding to an emergency event. Preferences N/A General Information Position Type and Typical Hours of Work: * This is a Full Time - Regular Position * 40 hours per week * The incumbent may be required to work long and irregular hours in circumstances of public health or infectious disease emergency or potential for such including weekends and holidays Work Environment: * Office: This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. * Field: Field work requires driving a county vehicle for ULV applications and Post Assessment Evaluations in a variety of urban and natural environments Physical Demands: * Must be able to lift 70 lbs., be in good physical health, able to tolerate high heat and humidity for extended periods of time outdoors while working in a variety of urban and natural environments. * Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays as required to accomplish the mission of MVCD.
