WHAT YOU'LL DO: The Warehouse Inventory Technician will process all incoming and outgoing materials and supplies with accuracy on a daily basis. This position is located at our off site Distribution Center. Will pull materials and medical supplies from computerized inventory stock and coordinate distribution to all Elica locations. Will keep the Distribution Center organized, clean and safe at all times. Works as part of a team to manage companies Assets and FF&E distribution. Helps to accomplish departmental goals and timelines. Occasionally load and unload dock high delivery vehicles using gates, lifts and ramps following all OSHA guidelines and internal safety requirements. ? Drive a Reach Truck/ Forklift or pallet jack in performance of basic operations; such as driving forwards, backwards and maneuvering in tight areas without damaging products or equipment. ? Loading/unloading pallets, pulling and placing pallets on/off product racks, maximizing storage by stacking products vertically and by locations in a planned logical fashion. ? Support Inventory Management and Purchasing Departments with cycle counts, weekly, monthly, quarterly as needed to assure inventory control system integrity. ? As part of a team complete annual inventory counts on all inventory and assets as required. ? Utilize matching skills and comprehend department/product documentation. ? Assemble and package small items as necessary. ? Able to operate computers, hand held scanners, phones and barcode printers with accuracy with minimal direction after receiving training. ? Keep the environment clean and organized at all times using brooms, mops, dusters and other equipment or devices. ? Log and track all inbound receiving and distribution. ? Maintain a positive and respectful attitude at all times. ? As part of a team support department with the data entry and accuracy of Elica's asset control systems as needed ? Help Schedule and maintain facility compliances such as fire drills, Inspections and safety audits. ? As part of a team, help ensure all company sites follow security protocols and safe practices as required for HRSA and OSHA compliance. ? Occasionally, act as back up for daily pickup and delivery of all company mail and package deliveries in a timely and safe manner; using company and / or personal vehicles. Mileage reimbursed at USG standards rates. ? Contribute suggestions and ideas to develop new procedures and processes improving job function. * Other duties as assigned. Qualifications, Experience and Essential Skills Requirements Education and Experience * Minimum High school diploma or equivalent required * Current OSHA compliance forklift certification (preferred) * 2 years of experience working in a warehouse environment with order fulfillment, storage, staging, shipping and receiving. * 2 years of inventory control skills and accountability are highly preferred Essential Skills/Abilities: * Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Sheets, Work Order systems and/or other similar electronic software highly preferred. * Good oral and written communication skills. Ability to read and write and understand English as it relates to the job interactions with others. * Strong time management skills. * Highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. * Self starter, reliable and have the ability to maintain focus while working individually. * Willingness to share and learn new ideas and best processes with a progressive team who values positive interaction. * A strong team player with pride of ownership of a job well done. * Able to lift and carry products weighing up to 70 lbs. throughout your shift. Physical Requirements The work environment is characteristic of both indoor and outdoor environments at both corporate office and healthcare facility settings . The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position; use hands to handle or lift. The employee is also required to move and position themselves to reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally move, position and/or remove up to 70 pounds, and be able to position themselves to ascend/descend ladders and stairs to complete services while practicing all OSHA approved workplace guidelines. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee must also possess hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the phone. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderately loud; incumbent must be able to focus in an environment with many distractions. Additional Requirements * Must have a current and valid California driver's license and the ability to provide proof of personal auto insurance on the vehicle driven during working hours. * The Clinical Centers are open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Late afternoon and/or Saturday shifts may be assigned to support company goals for special projects on rare occasions * If selected for an employment opportunity with Elica Health Centers, external hires must provide proof of immunizations (Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella & Tetanus), tuberculosis clearance, and proof of COVID-19 vaccination status* prior to their scheduled start date.
