If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you.MRA - Management Association is assisting one of our member companies in the search for their Production Supervisor. The basic function of this role is to provide the necessary planning, direction, and controls to ensure that all Landscape Maintenance and production teams are at their assigned dispatched location and meeting customer expectations. This will be accomplished through appropriate controls in coordination with and supervision of work in the office and out in the field. Travel is required. Key Responsibilities: Lead progressive, innovative strategies to improve customer service, public image, safety, working conditions, and profits.Verify the number of hours and location of the job. Verify the optimum number of production employees required to complete the job.Identify any unusual aspects of the job such as weather restrictions, loader requirements, unit equipment needed, unusual green or hard materials, and Digger's requirements.Review the production calendar and make any personnel adjustments to cover 'off' personnel.Prepare and execute probationary and annual reviews with assigned staff.Reserve unusual unit equipment specified for the job at least 24 hours in advance with the appropriate department manager.Confirm the service and availability of all reserved equipment needed to complete the job.Manage the preventative maintenance program of all vehicles and equipment assigned to your location.Manage equipment inventories and fill out asset tracking forms for your locations.Assist the Production Manager with new equipment recommendations and equipment needs.Confirm job readiness with the nursery manager for plant material.Confirm hardscape materials are ordered and/or are in inventory.Review work completed and follow-up work order/warranty work to complete the job to achieve customer satisfaction.Review upcoming jobs to add insight into specialized equipment or construction techniques.Visit job sites to help assist and review work in progress. Assist in training and follow-up training to confirm that DJFLCI standard operating procedures are being followed.Manage customer satisfaction.Confirm job progress, time budgets, and material budgets to correlate Job P&L with budgeted amounts.Review the daily crew schedule and make adjustments as necessary for the following day's production schedule.Address field problems and obstacles promptly and constructively through solutions.Interpret and enforce all policies and procedures in the Landscape Maintenance Department.Be on-call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for snow management responsibilities during winter months.Maintain a cooperative working relationship with department managers and other employees to promote a Great Place to Work.Take leadership responsibility for managing a proactive safety initiative as outlined in the company safety manual. Education and Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required, associate's degree preferred. Driver's License with good driving record and insurable by company standards. Possess and maintain a WI Pesticide License, Category III (Turf & Ornamentals), and/or Industry Certifications (i.e. NALP CLT/CLP) ideal. Eight to ten years of field experience working in landscape management; Five years of experience scheduling, planning, and managing landscape crews preferred. Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
