Easy Apply now by clicking the "Apply" buttonand sending us your resume.Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 per yearA bit about us:Our client is a New York based real estate development and investment firm with decades of experience in entitlement, site design, architecture, finance and construction of residential properties.This exceptional team has a tremendous track record of success building over a thousand properties and they are continuing to grow.Why join us?Competitive compensationComprehensive benefits packageStability and growth potentialJob DetailsCurrently they are looking to add a Site Superintendent who can manage projects in and around the Bellmore, NY area.Responsibilities:Responsible for providing direct hands-on management of all onsite construction activity under the supervision of the Director of Construction.Individual will take responsibility to manage all subcontractors, supply of materials and equipment following the critical path of the project scheduleProvide daily, weekly, and monthly updates with "look-a-head" to schedule and communicate effectively with the Project Team.Maintain proper documentation of onsite activities including of daily reports, job diaries, manpower tracking, change orders, time and material and equipment logs and other regular and special documentation as per the project needs. Manage subcontractors to provide sufficient work force to achieve performance and scheduling commitments.Responsible for onsite personnel to comply with the company safety standards, OSHA regulations and guidelines and industry best practices regarding job site safety.Assist Project Team with Inspection and Municipal agencies and report information as required.Requirements:5+ years of hands-on experience, as a site Superintendent (or on-site Project Manager) on suburban residential development projects.Proficient computer skills. Microsoft Office Suite, PDF Software and Project Management Software a must. Bluebeam, and MS Project are a plus.Knowledge of building systems and components. Experience with sitework, foundation, sewage, drainage, concrete, masonry, stick built construction, mechanical systems, carpentry and finishesStrong communication and personnel management skills to interact with project team, ownership, prospective buyers, subcontractors and government officials.Ability to read architectural, engineering and structural plans and specifications.Detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated and self-directed. Ability to prioritize tasks with limited direction and time constraints.Ability to anticipate or forecast change in conditions and operations to create solutions in a proactive approach.Interested in hearing more?
