Details: Summary of Position Responsibilities include supervising staff, ensuring quality control, monitoring equipment, and managing daily production activities. This role follows a Pitman night shift schedule, providing leadership and oversight for production operations during assigned shifts.Job RequirementsDetails: Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesEnsure all operational staff adhere to safety protocols and proper equipment usage.Provide ongoing training and technical support to ensure staff follow work instructions and best practices.Identify and report any defective or non-conforming products.Conduct quality control checks per work instructions and direction from production and quality leaders.Maintain product and component traceability through proper use of the Data Collection System, ensuring continuous operation.Monitor raw material inventory needed to meet production schedules, restocking and ordering as necessary.Collaborate with the Maintenance Technician to address and resolve equipment issues.Communicate with Lead Hands and Production Supervisors from adjacent shifts to relay key production updates.Inform the Production Manager of any concerns related to production, quality, processes, or personnel as they arise.Suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency, yield, and equipment uptime.Maintain proficiency in all production tasks and step in as needed to cover breaks or absences.Work overtime when required.Focus on minimizing safety risks and quality issues.Enhance the technical knowledge and engagement of production staff.Maximize equipment uptime while ensuring product traceability and quality.Meet production targets and drive improvements outlined by the Production Manager.Foster teamwork and collaboration among shift employees.Share company updates with the team as needed.Coordinate with other teams to drive efficiencies and improvements across operations.Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.QualificationsSkillsProficiency in Microsoft OfficeStrong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterityExcellent organizational and time management skillsEffective problem-solving abilitiesTraitsCommitment to ongoing learningTeam- and customer-focused mindsetStrong attention to detailAbility to lead a team and address personnel concerns efficientlyFlexibility to work rotating or variable shiftsEducation and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent3+ years of production experienceUnderstanding of process improvement, budgeting, and production standardsPreferred Qualifications5 years of experience as a production supervisor in a manufacturing environmentExperience with production planning, controls, and instrumentationFamiliarity with MRP and/or ERP systemsCompensation and BenefitsSalary: $78,000 - $85,000 annuallyAnnual bonus eligibility up to 10% of salaryPaid Time Off (vacation, sick, and holiday)401(k) Retirement PlanMedical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceHealth Savings Account optionSupplemental/Voluntary Insurance PlansEmployee Assistance ProgramTuition Reimbursement ProgramEmployee Recognition ProgramsEmployee PV Panel Purchase Program
