Find out how you can make a difference with a career at Society. Society Insurance is seeking an experienced Agency Services Representative to join our Agency Services team! This position will perform a variety of agency services activities including but not limited to, resolving agent and customer issues in collaboration with other departments, providing front-line technical support for our Agency Services software programs, assisting with maintaining agency systems, and assisting in business systems analysis. About the Role * Supports agency force and internal staff on technical matters related to Agency Services Systems. Provides technical assistance and training to agents via phone, e-mail, virtual, or in-person consultation. * Assists with initial set-up of agency producers and staff and assists with monitoring departmental inbox, chat solution, phone for incoming messages and calls; assists with providing consultation, system assistance, and training to agency staff or routes to the appropriate department/individual for follow-up. * Lists and removes producers and agencies to maintain data integrity within external and internal producer databases and ensures compliance with state and federal laws. * Collaborates with department technical resource to update existing technical documentation or other written materials. In addition, reviews and performs necessary writing, editing, validating, and/or publishing tasks for Agency Services. * Supports the sales department by completing agency contracts; processes new agency appointments and agency terminations; maintains department files; gathers information from agents. What it Will Take * Associate degree and 4+ years of experience in business, insurance, customer service, communications, information systems, or a related field. * Experience working within a project-management environment with an ability to see and design exception workflows for alternate processes. * Demonstrated writing, editing, and proofing skills with attention to clarity, grammar, and detail. * Strong customer service, communication, analytical, and problem solving skills * Communication skills to seek out details, express ideas, and present solutions in ways an audience can understand. This may involve researching, interviewing, and anticipation of how to apply a solution to a current or new process. * Conceptual understanding of the property/casualty insurance industry and related business processes. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Visio, and screen-capture software.
