In Kansas City, Honeywell Federal Manufacturing & Technologies (FM&T) manages and operates the U.S. Department of Energy/National Nuclear Security Administration's (NNSA) Kansas City National Security Campus. This state-of-the-art engineering, manufacturing, and sourcing facility produces a wide array of intricate components to deliver trusted national security products and government services primarily for the NNSA. Summary The Director, IT Business Support assists the Chief Information Officer (CIO) with overseeing activities in information technology, integrated information systems, enterprise information architecture, IT strategy roadmap, and governance management programs across the IT organization for KCNSC. Coordinate and manage customer engagement for existing and future projects for budgeting, scheduling, and staffing requirements. Their duties also include attending meetings on behalf of the CIO, leading project discussions, and implementing various strategic planning processes across the IT organization and acting as the AI Officer. Duties And Responsibilities Oversee IT business support initiatives, under the guidance of the CIO. Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy to support business operations and data services that align with organizational objectives. Collaborate with senior leadership to identify opportunities to streamline operations and leverage data for competitive advantage. Oversee the program/project planning, implementation, and optimization of business processes, ensuring operational efficiency and scalability. Establish and monitor performance metrics to evaluate the success of operational initiatives. Lead the development and implementation of enterprise data strategies, including governance, architecture, analytics, and integration. Have fluency in OSI stack with prior experience in Operational Support Systems (OSS) and Business Support Systems (BSS). Evaluate and implement tools, platforms, and methodologies to enhance operational and data capabilities. Participate in business discussions, solution architecture activities, and lead the technical discussions. Assist with the oversight of daily operations in collaboration with senior leaders, generating correspondence, and coordinating annual meetings, and scheduling facilities. Perform other assigned duties as related to AI. You Must Have Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, or similar field. 10+ years of experience in information technology, business, engineering, or program management, or manufacturing with seven years managing people or 5 years' experience in leading projects, programs, or initiatives with demonstrated leadership skills. Technical expertise and competencies appropriate to the organization, including software engineering, communication network design, edge device expertise, service-oriented architectures, development platforms, and virtual technologies. Ability to organize, prioritize, and follow through to completion on multiple tasks. Ability to work with sensitive information and classified matter. Experience in Artificial Intelligence. Experience in organizing and directing multiple teams and departments. Experience in planning and leading strategic initiatives. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must reside in Kansas City Area. United States Citizenship. Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job. Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations). We Value Position is on-site.
