Job SummaryThe Production Coordinator II provides a variety of activities and related tasks as it pertains to coordinating repair jobs and engineering products. The Production Coordinator II will be responsible for scheduling, ordering needed materials, and working directly with the customers to ensure a prompt and accurate product.Primary Duties & ResponsibilitiesAll additional responsibilities of a Production Coordinator IProvides support to the Production Coordinator III and field and shop service leaders as needed Schedule service and engineered product jobs in collaboration with customers and shop management to ensure on-time deliveryUpdates the production board, Shop Foreman/Operation Supervisors, Valvkeep, and customer of any changes to the scheduleTurnaround/ outage cost track and weekly invoicingPlans, coordinates, and prepares valve specifications and/or material requisitions and bid evaluationsProvides technical support and assists in resolution of manufacturing problems as requiredSources and procures direct shipment, special, and rush order items in a cost-effective and timely mannerFollows up on open quotations and responds to customer requestsIdentifies and closes additional purchases of products and services by customers' communitiesWorks closely with sales support, Account Managers, and business developmentKeeps management informed of all activity, including timely preparation of reportsPositional Requirements & QualificationsEducation & ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent (GED)2-5 years of relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.1 or more years as a Production Coordinator I or equivalent experienceSkills & AbilitiesSuccessful completion or all Production Coordinator I certification requirementsSuccessful completion of the Production Coordinator II learning path in LinkedIn LearningSuccessful completion of Technical 102 training for assigned product vertical(s)Successful completion of the level II written test for assigned product vertical(s)Highly organizedEffective time-managementDetail-orientedStrong leadershipExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignmentsAble to work collectively with the administrative team associatesProficient in Microsoft Excel and Word Must be able to travel and have a clear driving record in accordance to company driving guidelinesClear background check and drug and alcohol screeningEssential Physical Functions:Lifting up to 25 poundsBending, stooping, ability to stand for extended periods of time
