Overview ePlus is seeking a Sales Director to be responsible for driving the sales strategy, overseeing the sales team, and ensuring the firm's revenue and growth objectives are met. This position demands a strategic leader with deep experience in both technology services and sales management, a keen understanding of the service industry, and a proven track record of driving business development in a B2B environment. As the Sales Director, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our sales processes, expanding our customer base, and ultimately contributing to the overall success of the business. YOUR IMPACT Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to meet or exceed revenue targets. Align sales objectives with overall business goals and market conditions. Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and inspire the sales team to achieve both individual and team sales targets. Foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within target organizations. Develop and maintain long-term client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business. Sales Operations & Reporting: Oversee the management of the sales pipeline and forecast sales performance. Provide regular updates and insights to executive leadership regarding progress toward sales goals. Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, customer success, and product teams to develop tailored offerings and marketing campaigns that drive lead generation and sales conversions. Market Analysis & Trend Identification: Stay informed of market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments. Provide strategic insights to adapt sales tactics and keep the company competitive. Contract Negotiation & Closing: Lead high-level sales negotiations, ensuring successful outcomes that align with both client needs and company objectives. Budget Management: Oversee the sales budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to meet objectives while optimizing ROI. QUALIFICATIONS Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in sales leadership roles, preferably in a service-oriented technology or B2B environment. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. POSITION SPECIFICS The base salary range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $125,000 and $165,000 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including commissions and discretionary bonuses, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and personal leave), dependent on the position offered.
