Apply today and make a lasting difference! DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Field Investigator, you will help facilitate the smooth transition of reentrants back into their home communities. You will maintain furlough certification, conduct criminal record checks on furlough sponsors, and review reentrant furlough requests. This role analyzes information used to submit written reports, make recommendations, and identify concerns with furlough considerations. In addition, you will prepare investigative correspondence to judges, maintain case files, and document suspicious and non-compliant situations. Interested in learning more? Work Schedule and Additional Information: * Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week * Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. * Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 2 days per week with approval, once your training period has been completed. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Pittsburgh. * Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. * You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: * Three years of experience in public contact work, including two years of experience in field investigation or law enforcement work; or * Any equivalent combination of experience and training. Additional Requirements: * Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required. * You must be able to perform essential job functions.
