We are now hiring for an Operations Associate and Tender Truck Driver for our Greenwood, NE location. This position is being offered as full-time with benefits. A Tender Truck Driver is responsible for operating company-licensed commercial vehicles in a safe, effective and efficient manner while delivering dry/liquid fertilizers and chemicals, in a manner that will ensure excellent customer service and standards are met. Essential duties: * Requires either a CDL class A or B with proper endorsements to operate the tender trucks or straight trucks to transport dry and liquid fertilizer or anhydrous ammonia nurse trailers to producer's fields. * May assist with the loading of chemicals manually or through the company software system, loads chemicals into containers by connecting hoses and operates the transfer system, secures vehicle for transport and receives customer location maps and delivery instructions. * Delivers product to Custom Applicators at producer's fields, prepares truck for product transfer, connects hoses to applicator machinery, operate pumps to transfer the product; and clears hose lines when transfer is completed. * Provide exceptional customer service to our patrons, customers, and employees in a courteous and professional manner at all times. Assist customers with purchasing bulk fertilizers, chemicals, and seed, as well as delivering grain commodities to the terminal. * Control all load-out functions including blending and loading agronomy products, loading/unloading grain trucks, and maintaining the quality of inventory and blended products. * Perform warehouse and other agricultural-related duties such as operating tractors, machinery, forklifts, loaders, bobcats, etc. * Assist with routine building, grounds, vehicle, and equipment maintenance and repair, perform housekeeping inside and outside of all facilities, offices, mills, and elevators. * Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures, complete training and follow regulations. Job skills and requirements: * Customer service; transportation & delivery of agricultural products, manual labor, safety protocols, time management, problem solving, and analyzing information. * Safely operate commercial vehicles and agricultural equipment, pneumatic, bench and hand tools, computers, company software programs, and material handling equipment such as forklifts, power loaders, boom trucks, skid steers, etc. * Interpret a variety of instructions & work orders furnished in written, oral, or electronic form; read and interpret gauges, dials & meters, directional and plot maps, various safety rules, state & federal DOT commercial driving regulations, weigh, load, and delivery tickets, hazmat shipping papers, and standard operating & maintenance manuals and/or instructions. * Able to perform and record Pre and Post-Trip Inspections, mileage and fuel reports, complete work orders and general correspondence. * Perform basic math computations.
