Position Summary: The Lawn Care Team Lead is responsible for overseeing daily lawn care operations, ensuring high-quality service, and maintaining efficiency across all job sites. This role involves training and mentoring crew members, monitoring performance, and optimizing workflows to improve productivity. The Team Lead will also be responsible for maintaining equipment, handling customer concerns, and ensuring all work meets Double A standards. Performance Objectives Oversees daily lawn care operations, ensuring jobs are completed on schedule and to company standards.Communicates with customers to confirm service expectations and resolve any concerns promptly.Trains and mentors lawn care team members to improve performance and maintain service quality.Creates and manages crew schedules to maximize efficiency and ensure full route completion.Monitors team productivity, quality of work, and adherence to company policies.Ensures proper maintenance and repairs of lawn care equipment to prevent downtime.Tracks and analyzes team performance data to improve efficiency and profitability.Holds self and team accountable for meeting performance, attendance, and safety standards.Reports weekly to management on crew performance, challenges, and areas for improvement.Conducts on-site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to company procedures.Motivates and inspires team members to perform at their best and contribute to company success.Steps in to mow lawns or assist with other lawn care tasks as needed to ensure job completion.Meets or exceeds key performance indicators (KPIs) related to efficiency, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth. Capabilities/Key Competencies Able to effectively solve problems and provide sound reasoning for decisions.Communicates professionally with clients and team members regarding scheduling, job processes, and customer satisfaction.Strong knowledge of lawn care techniques, mowing patterns, and best practices for maintaining healthy lawns.Demonstrates a positive attitude and leads by example every day.Punctual and reliable, ensuring job sites are serviced on time.Knowledge of safety procedures and requirements for operating all Double A Landscaping equipment.Understands lawn care operations, scheduling, and efficiency strategies to maximize productivity.Experience managing multiple job sites and recurring tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.Incorporates Double A Landscaping business philosophies and best practices into daily operations.Willingness to answer texts, emails, and calls after hours as needed to support team success.Demonstrates a strong work ethic and commitment to achieving company goals.Shows persistence and problem-solving skills when overcoming challenges.Proficient with technology, including scheduling software, time-tracking apps, and internal company systems.
