We are looking for a Production Supervisor in our Flower Mound, TX manufacturing plant. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the production process and ensuring that all products are manufactured safely, and efficiently while meeting our high-quality standards.Why work at MITER Brands?ResponsibilitiesManage staffing, orientation, training, and team member development.Develop people, improving processes, reducing costs, quality monitoring and improvements, superior customer service, and on-time delivery. Appropriate staffing and departmental scheduling personnel to meet manufacturing requirements while minimizing costs. Plan departmental operations by establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products. Develop and/or revise standard operational & working practices, and observe workers to ensure compliance with standards. Ensure plant staff (Leads) enforce company policies and procedures, plant-wide safety rules, and employee rules of conduct. Interview, hire, train, terminate, discipline, and coach employees. Motivate employees to achieve results.RequirementsCollege degree preferred. Our ideal candidate will have three-plus years in a manufacturing leadership role with previous multi-line responsibility. Proficient in the MS Office Suite. Must be an effective communicator, capable of teaching and generating results while enhancing the MI work environment and supporting the company philosophy. Prior experience in improving operations (UPEH, reduced costs, etc.).
