As a Employment & Labor Attorney, you will be responsible for providing legal counsel on a wide range of employment and labor issues. You will work closely with clients to ensure compliance with labor and employment laws, provide guidance on compensation and pensions, conduct internal investigations, and represent clients in litigation matters.Responsibilities:Provide legal counsel to clients on a wide range of employment and labor issues, including compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and policies.Conduct internal investigations and provide guidance on best practices for employment policies and procedures.Represent clients in litigation matters, including but not limited to wrongful termination, discrimination, and harassment cases.Work with clients to develop and implement compensation and pension plans that comply with regulatory requirements.Negotiate and draft employment contracts, severance agreements, and other related documents.Qualifications:Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.Active license to practice law in the state of employment.8+ years of experience in employment and labor law, including litigation and counseling.Strong understanding of federal and state employment and labor laws and regulations.Experience conducting internal investigations and providing guidance on employment policies and procedures.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Interested in hearing more?
