You will be responsible for all aspects of a case in state and federal court. This includes pre-trial prep, court appearances, motions, depositions, mediations, negotiations, and trials.WHAT YOU WILL DO:Meet with clients and file lawsuitsPropound and respond to written discoverySchedule and attend fact witness depositionsRetain all appropriate experts and attend all expert depositionsSchedule and attend all hearingsPrepare for and attend mediationsPrepare cases for trial and try cases to verdictPrepare and file appropriate post-trial motionsAttend file audits, litigation attorney meetings, and trial clinicsWHAT YOU HAVE:A license in good standing to practice law in FloridaExperience as a PI LitigatorA proven track record of winning, including jury trials with a minimum of 2 jury trials as first chairThe ability to handle a large and active caseload from filing through verdictSuccess providing direction and guidance to a team of staffImpeccable verbal and written communication skillsExcellent negotiation skillsAnalytical and research skillsA strong courtroom presence and eagerness to try casesInterested in hearing more?
