Easy Apply now by clicking the "Apply" buttonand sending us your resume.Salary: $100,000 - $140,000 per yearA bit about us:We are a mid-sized, technology firm that develops cutting-edge RF tools and are looking to hire a Senior Mechanical Engineer ASAP!If interested, please apply or email your resume directly at - !Why join us?$100,000-$140,000 base salaryHealth, Dental, Vision401kPTOJob DetailsScope of Responsibilities:Initial conceptual design/development of mechanical components, from simple mounting brackets to complete enclosuresModeling of mechanical components to confirm design feasibilityDetailed CAD implementation of a design, including design package for fabricationWorking with hardware and layout teams to design custom printed circuit boardsThermal analysis of design to understand operational limitationsWorking with engineering and production teams to ensure design for manufacturabilityDevelopment of support documentation and inventory management to transition a design in to productionQualifications:BS and/or MS in mechanical engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience5+ years of industry experience developing real-world solutionsExperience designing small form factor electronics enclosures often with demanding thermal performance requirementsAbility and willingness to execute on projects from initial concept phase to fabrication of production unitsComfortable tackling a complete mechanical design using 3D CAD software (preferably SolidWorks)Experience designing both sheet metal and machined partsExperience with manufacturing challenges and designing for manufacturabilityFamiliarity with printed circuit board design and assembly processesInterested in hearing more?
