This is an excellent opportunity to work on federal and state-level environmental regulatory matters alongside a dynamic and growing practice group.Role FocusThis position centers on environmental, health, and safety matters, with an emphasis on:Regulatory Compliance and Counseling: Advising clients on federal and state regulatory frameworks, including environmental laws, health and safety standards, and industry-specific regulations.Environmental Litigation: Representing clients in disputes involving environmental laws, such as CERCLA, RCRA, Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, and others. Litigation will focus on environmental issues rather than local land use or zoning disputes.Transactional Support: Conducting environmental due diligence and advising on compliance risks in mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.Permitting and Remediation: Guiding clients through complex permitting processes and remedial action plans to ensure compliance with environmental standards.Regulatory Enforcement Defense: Representing clients in enforcement actions and investigations initiated by federal and state agencies.Preferred QualificationsWe are looking for candidates with the following:Experience: A background in environmental litigation, regulatory compliance, or general litigation with an environmental focus.
