This role is responsible for electrical troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of production equipment, including machinery used for metal fabrication, coating applications, and pan refurbishment. The ideal candidate will also have experience in PLC programming and automation to enhance operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systems, motors, and production equipment.Diagnose and repair electrical issues on metal fabrication machines, coating application equipment, and automated refurbishment systems.Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical blueprints.Perform PLC troubleshooting and programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or other platforms).Maintain and repair sensors, VFDs, HMIs, and industrial control systems.Work closely with engineers and production teams to optimize machine performance.Ensure compliance with NFPA 70E, OSHA electrical safety standards, and company policies.Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.Assist in the installation, commissioning, and automation of new machinery and process improvements.Document electrical work, maintenance records, and any modifications to control systems.Qualifications & Skills:Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required). Technical degree or certification in Electrical, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field (preferred).Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an Industrial Electrician in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment.Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems (480V, 3-phase), PLCs, motor controls, and automation.Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.).Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and technical manuals.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Knowledge of VFDs, servo motors, and industrial control circuits.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Interested in hearing more?
