As a Millwork Installer and Drafter, you will be responsible for crafting, installing, and drafting high-quality custom wood furniture and installations. You will be part of a team dedicated to excellence and precision, working on a variety of projects ranging from residential to commercial. This is a permanent position with multiple openings, perfect for those who have a passion for woodworking and design.Why join us?Competitive compensation and benefits package!Job DetailsResponsibilities:Create detailed millwork designs using drafting tools and software.Interpret and read architectural drawings and specifications to determine the layout, type of wood, and other materials required.Craft, assemble, and install architectural woodwork, including custom wood furniture, based on designs and drawings.Perform quality control checks to ensure that the final product meets the design specifications and the company's high-quality standards.Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other team members to ensure project timelines and client expectations are met.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the design, materials, or installation process.Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety protocols and procedures.Continuously learn and stay updated on the latest trends, techniques, and safety regulations in the woodworking and millwork industry.Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural woodworking, millwork, or a related field.Proficiency in drafting and creating millwork designs.Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, tools, and materials.Ability to read, interpret, and work from architectural drawings.Experience in the installation of custom wood furniture.Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines without compromising quality.Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and perform other physically demanding tasks.A commitment to safety and knowledge of safety protocols in the woodworking and millwork industry.A high school diploma or equivalent.
