UPchieve is an edtech nonprofit that provides free, 24/7 online tutoring and college counseling to low-income 6th-12th grade students in the U.S. Using our app, students can request and get paired with a live, volunteer tutor in under 5 minutes. That means we need team members who are excited by autonomy and willing to work on projects outside the scope of their job description if needed. We're looking forbotha hands-on relationship builderandstrategic thinker. The ideal candidate will be just as excited about helping individual schools and districts get the most out of UPchieve as they are about learning how to develop a partnership model that unleashes UPchieve's potential for scale.Given our early stage, you'll help shape the direction of UPchieve's partnershipsandteam culture. You have a knack for getting people to say "yes" even when it seems impossible.You have an entrepreneurial mindset and excel at turning new ideas into reality, especially when there's no playbook to follow.What you'll do:Own the relationship lifecycle of 25-35 school partners, including our first cohort of paid partners, from onboarding to implementation to renewal.This role may require up to 30% travel for in-person presentations.Work with school and district leaders to identify the most important paths to renewal in a partnership from day one.Use data from experiments conducted in your partner schools to identify the most promising stakeholders, communications, and implementation strategies that will ensure renewals from UPchieve's partner schools.Collaborate closely with the schools' product team to help identify and test new product features and solutions to increase usage and impact.Help UPchieve build its standard operating procedures for school and district partnerships, including identifying best practices, key milestones, implementing new technologies, etc.Create and maintain assets like videos, posters, and email communications for partner schools (with support from our designer).Provide technical support to schools, including setting up Clever integrations and troubleshooting issues for teachers and students (with support from our tech team).Preferred ExperienceThese are some experiences we believe would make a star candidate, but they aren't the only things that could do that. You don't need to check all the boxes to apply.5+ years of experience in school partnerships, edtech customer success, or a related role.Strong track record of bringing school and district partners to renewals.Experience developing early stages of partnerships at a startup and building processes to scale them.Experience driving high utilization of edtech tools at Title I high schools in the U.S.Recruitment ProcessNote that it can take us a few weeks from when you submit your application to invite you to a screening call.
