This individual should be able to maintain and develop professional relationship with clients and general contractors oversee multiple projects and coordinate with site superintendent or project foremen.The PM must have experience in metal fabrication and managing field work. Well versed in projects - large and small - including scheduling labor, subcontracts, materials and equipment for the project, management of job costs. Additionally, this candidate should be capable of bidding and managing multiple RFQ's and projects at the same time. Ability to understand Steel Fabrication, Industrial Piping fabrication and installation for multiple types of systems. Must have good communication skills in all directions from the customer to management, supervisors and the crafts persons.Responsibilities:1. Maintains an environment which adheres to safety, inclusiveness, career progression, teamwork,and customer focus.2. Maintains relationships with existing customers, develops relationships with new customers andprospects for new business.3. Takes ownership from the estimator for projects after the handoff meeting.4. Addresses concerns pertaining to likelihood of project success based upon the estimate.5. Reviews job documents, plans and specifications.6. Prepares proposals, change order documents, & correspondence for potential or ongoing projects.7. Coordinates and oversees projects with site superintendent or project foreman based upon the scopeof the project from the estimator.8. Monitors project profitability and timelines based upon the scope of the project.9. Gives routine updates including safety, quality, schedule, and adherence to budget to thestakeholders.10. Makes technical decisions for the project adhering to all regulations and the scope of the project.11. Makes adjustments to the schedule based upon input from the customer, the general contractor,vendors, and subcontractors.12. Acts when the scope of the project changes which could impact safety, quality, delivery, or cost.13. Facilitates discussions with customers and suppliers to keep the project in scope.14. Attends job meetings and serves as company representative to general contractor, other contractors,design professionals, & client.15. Gathers material quotes, submittals, shop drawings and other job-related documents for approval.16. Maintains and enforces safety requirements on project sites.17. Applies for required permits.18. Maintains submittal and change order logs.19. Proficient in using Vista and B2W.20. Takes ownership of the project from the estimator during the project hand off meeting.21. Facilitates the debrief process at the end of the project, communicate the results and archive the datain the appropriate folder.22. Performs all other duties as requested.Requirements:Three to five years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Ability to read write and comprehend instructions, blueprints, correspondence, and memos.Demonstrated estimating skills required.Interested in hearing more?
