For over 60 years now, they have been providing legal services in all forms of civil litigation, including commercial litigation, construction disputes, casualty defense, insurance coverage, and bad faith law, professional liability, liquor liability, trucking and transportation defense, employment law, and environmental law.The Firm also represents individuals for personal injury, medical malpractice, nursing home, employment, immigration, estate planning and administration of wills and trusts, and criminal defense.Why join us?Competitive compensationComprehensive benefits packageStability and growth opportunitiesJob DetailsCurrently, they are in growth mode and looking to add multiple Attorneys with insurance defense experience and this person can be Jersey City, NJ or their location in PA.Responsibilities:Manage all aspects of litigation, including taking and defending depositions, attending court conferences, reviewing pleadings and preparing for and going to trial.Conduct legal research and draft complex pleadings, motions, briefs, and appeals.Regularly handle court appearances and depositions.Consult with clients to ascertain and address their legal needs.Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in an effort to resolve cases favorably.Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in interactions with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties.Contribute to firm growth by establishing and maintaining strong relationships with clients.Stay updated with changes in law, court decisions, and other legal matters that could impact the firm's clients.Qualifications:Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.1+ years of experience as an attorney, specifically in defense litigation.Admission to the state bar and in good standing.Proven experience in managing a full caseload.Excellent oral and written communication skills with a keen attention to detail.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.Unwavering ethics and a high level of professionalism.Strong negotiation skills with the ability to resolve disputes favorably for clients.Interested in hearing more?
