We're on the hunt for a dedicated Permanent Audit Staff member to join our vibrant Accounting and Finance team. Our ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with a strong desire to make a significant impact, who thrives on working in complex environments and taking on new challenges.Responsibilities:As a Permanent Audit Staff member, you will play a pivotal role in our accounting and finance team. Your duties will include but not limited to:1. Conducting detailed audits of financial records, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal requirements.2. Reviewing and evaluating financial systems, financial reporting mechanisms, and internal control systems to ensure their effectiveness.3. Preparing and presenting clear, concise, and comprehensive audit reports to management, illustrating audit findings and recommendations.4. Assisting in the development of annual audit plans and conducting risk assessments.5. Applying FASB standards, GAAP, and GAAS in all audit procedures.6. Collaborating with various teams to resolve audit issues and improve accounting practices.7. Continuously enhancing your knowledge of industry trends, developments, and changes in accounting rules and regulations.Qualifications:To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must meet the following qualifications:1. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a related field.2. CPA certified or CPA exam eligible.3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing, preferably within the Accounting and Finance industry.4. Solid understanding of audit principles, FASB standards, GAAP, and GAAS.5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.6. Strong analytical skills, with an ability to understand and interpret complex financial data.7. High level of integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information with discretion.8. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.9. Exceptional attention to detail, with an ability to spot errors and inconsistencies in financial records.10.
