The role will be responsible for managing and overseeing all activities relating to purchasing goods and services including tracking open commitments, managing/controlling cost, and reporting on all spending. This role will also be responsible for all other vendor payment-related functions.Responsibilities:Oversee and manage team of purchasing and accounts payable analysts.Responsible for purchase order processing, vendor payments, cost tracking and variance analysisTrack and report on cost variances, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.Provide cash outflow reporting and projectionsImplement system improvements and streamline processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Assist in implementing purchasing strategies to optimize cost savings.Manage vendor onboarding process, ensuring all necessary data is collected and stored in accordance with company policies and procedures.Analyze purchasing data and metrics and provide reporting and recommendations to leadership.Oversee vendor pay runsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain, procure to pay, or business administrationAbility to extract data and analyze ERP informationAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.Interested in hearing more?
