The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating, budgets, preconstruction, and other related areas. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for various construction projects. You will work closely with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. We currently are active in commercial, community, government, healthcare, renewables, industrial, education and housing markets.Responsibilities:Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for various construction projectsWork closely with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standardsAnalyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare cost estimatesReview and analyze bids from subcontractors and vendors to ensure that they are competitive and meet project requirementsDevelop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and vendors to ensure that they are available when neededAttend preconstruction meetings and site visits to gather information and identify potential issuesMonitor project costs and budgets to ensure that they are on trackPrepare change orders and other documentation as neededParticipate in project meetings and provide updates on project status and cost estimatesQualifications:Minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating, budgets, preconstruction, or related areasBachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferredStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to read and interpret project specifications, drawings, and other documentationKnowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniquesProficiency in Microsoft Office, Sage Timberline EstimatingAbility to work independently and as part of a teamDetail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of construction laws and regulationsAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesIf you are a highly motivated and experienced Estimator looking for an exciting opportunity in the construction industry, we encourage you to apply for this position.
