For more information, visit we build our core team, we're seeking top talent in different functional areas who are not just looking for a job, but an opportunity to be part of something bigger.Job Title:Senior Manager of Accounting and ReportingLocation:Menlo Park, CA-Hybrid 3 days in officeRole Overview:We are looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Senior Manager of Accounting and Reporting to play a key role in accounting and reporting matters for a public company. Reporting to the Controller, the Manager/Senior Manager of Accounting and Reporting will be responsible for ensuring compliance with SEC regulations, U.S. GAAP standards, and company policies.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and review quarterly and annual filings with the SEC, including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, Proxy, and registration statements.Assist with the accounting for equity awards, including preparing journal entries and related equity schedules.Draft technical accounting memos for complex accounting matters.Assist with the implementation and maintenance of internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR) in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.Own assigned areas of accounting close tasks including accruals and reconciliations.Assist in the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules for SEC filings.Coordinate with stakeholders to gather and analyze financial data for SEC filings.Research and interpret accounting standards, SEC rules, and regulations.Support the external audit process.Stay informed about changes in accounting standards and SEC regulations.Assist in project management of the planning, coordination, and execution of SEC reporting processes.Assist with special projects and ad hoc financial reporting as needed.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.Minimum of 5+ years of experience in SEC reporting or related roles in a publicly traded company.Strong understanding of SEC reporting requirements and U.S. GAAP principles.Proficiency in SEC reporting software and ERP systems (NetSuite).Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Detail-oriented and organized.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Experience with XBRL tagging and filing preferred.Compensation:The anticipated salary range for candidates is $155,000 to $180,000.Job Location:Hybrid, based in Menlo Park, CA, requiring in-office presence 3 days/week.We're looking forward to hearing how you can contribute to our team and mission.
