Easy Apply now by clicking the "Apply" buttonand sending us your resume.Salary: $100,000 - $125,000 per yearA bit about us:An Energy company is seeking an (A/P) Accounting Manager to join our growing team.Why join us?Competitive CompensationAnnual raises & bonusGenerous benefits and high 401K matchHybrid position - based out of our NYCHeadquartersFantastic & fun company culture- happy hours, events, etc.Tremendous Growth Opportunities!Job DetailsResponsibilities:Oversee and manage team of purchasing and accounts payable analysts.Responsible for purchase order processing, vendor payments, cost tracking and variance analysisPerform weekly payment runsHelp with ERP implementation (NetSuite) *Extract data and analyze in bulk*Drive system improvements and automations to streamline reporting on costs committed and incurred.Manage the process of invoicing (avg 300 per week)Track and report on cost variances, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.Provide cash outflow reporting and projectionsImplement system improvements and streamline processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Assist in implementing purchasing strategies to optimize cost savings.Manage vendor onboarding process, ensuring all necessary data is collected and stored in accordance with company policies and procedures.Analyze purchasing data and metrics and provide reporting and recommendations to leadership.Initiate wires and payments as neededSupport ad-hoc requests from Accounting or FP&A team and senior leadership.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounting, Accounts Payable and/or procure to payAbility to extract data and analyze ERP informationAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.Interested in hearing more?
