The successful candidate will play a critical role in our organization, working on various projects including property boundary surveys and land subdivision. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package, with ample opportunities for professional growth and development.Responsibilities:As a Land Surveyor, your primary responsibilities will include:1. Conducting thorough boundary surveys to establish property lines and provide data relevant to the shape, contour, location, elevation, or dimension of land or land features.2. Preparing and maintaining sketches, maps, reports, and legal descriptions of surveys to describe, certify, and assume liability for work performed.3. Verifying the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites.4. Directing or conducting surveys to establish legal boundaries for properties, based on legal deeds and titles.5. Recording the results of surveys, including the shape, contour, location, elevation, and dimensions of land or land features.6. Coordinating findings with the work of engineering and architectural personnel, clients, and others concerned with projects.7. Adjusting surveying instruments to maintain their accuracy.8. Conducting research in surveying and mapping methods, using knowledge of techniques of photogrammetric map compilation and electronic data processing.Qualifications:To be considered for the role of Land Surveyor, candidates must meet the following qualifications:1. Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.2. Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license is required.3. Minimum of 5 years' experience in boundary surveying, preferably within the Engineering industry.4. Proficiency in using surveying software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS systems.5. Strong knowledge of the principles, techniques, and legal aspects of land surveying.6. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.7. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound technical decisions.8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.9. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.10.
