We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic Baristas to join the Members Club at The Twenty Two. Baristas expertly craft coffee, tea, and cocktail offerings while providing a strong sense of knowledge and hospitality to guests. They will also assist in all aspects of FOH, including running food and drink, clearing tables, and greeting guests. All baristas will exemplify our core values, connecting with guests in a professional manner to ensure excellence in service."¯"¯ Duties and Responsibilities "¯ Operations and Service Collaborate with the management team and front of house team to ensure that service operations enhance the guest experience and meet high service standards."¯ Prepare all coffee drinks, restock all milks (dairy or alternative) and all other cafe mise"¯ en place as necessary to maintain minimum pars before and during service."¯ Stock and maintain dry goods at the barista station."¯ Maintain maintenance of coffee stations: counters, bar, espresso/coffee machines. Answer questions about menu items, provide recommendations, and determine available options for guests with dietary restrictions."¯ Assist in the opening and closing of the restaurant, ensuring all service stations are set up and broken down efficiently."¯ Process guest payments via cash and credit card transactions, ensuring accuracy of checks."¯ Escalate guest questions and concerns to the manager on duty as appropriate . "¯"¯ Maintain a thorough knowledge of all menu items."¯"¯ Maintain warmth and hospitality in all correspondence with guests. "¯"¯"¯ Maintain complete knowledge of our policies and procedures and ensure that all practices and policies are being upheld. Adhere to posted schedules. Complete other duties as assigned by management. Sanitation, Hygiene, and Safety Maintain exceptional cleanliness and maintain equipment to optimal specifications. Maintain and strictly abide by state sanitation/health regulations and hotel requirements and procedures . Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment; use equipment and tools only as intended, properly and safely . Inspect the cleanliness and organization of workstations; rectify any deficiencies . Inspect the cleanliness and working condition of all tools, equipment, and supplies, ensuring everything complies with standards . Inform supervisor on duty immediately of any DOH or OSHA/workplace safety violations . Maintain proper storage procedures as specified by Department of Health requirements . Qualifications "¯"¯ 2 years of experience as a barista in a fine dining, high volume restaurant environment."¯ Must have the ability to read, speak, understand, follow wr itten directions, and verbal instructions in English. Communicate information effectively and efficiently. Possesses a positive, results-oriented, team-player mentality. Ability to perform job duties and responsibilities well and maintain professionalism and composure under pressure and in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. Able to work a flexible schedule in order to accommodate business levels (weekend, nights, and holiday availability required). Excellent knife-handling skills and understanding of various baking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures. May be asked to travel to visit vendors or different company locations.
