Major Duties and Responsibilities * Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow * Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system * Track and Trace Transcon files and reporting * Ensure accurate and timely client and vendor billing * Ensure delivery of freight and timely clearance when applicable * Interact with customers in arranging their shipments to meet customers service standards * Contribute and maintain good relationships with suppliers * Meet compliance at all times? * Network communications, timely responses to emails and requests * Meet KPI standards in accordance with Company policy * Understand customers procedures and maintain updated internal DLSOPs Qualifications * Position Hours are 8am - 5pm Monday-Friday * Previous experience within the logistics field or equivalent training of 2 years * Associates or Bachelors Degree * Solid oral and written communication skills * Strong problem solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills * Proficient computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) * Key Responsibilities * Customer Service: You will be responsible for communicating effectively with customers and to ensure a compliant and complete shipment process in a timely manner, documenting customer needs for future use, and maintaining an excellent working relationship with your customers. * Operational Excellence: You will take ownership of understanding and complying with Expeditors internal process standards, to complete timely, accurate and compliant documentation, customer billings and system updates accordingly. * Service Provider Relationships: As a Transcon Agent you will build strong partnerships with multiple Service Providers ensuring your clients is serviced to a high level, you will ensure accurate and timely invoicing for your service providers.
