The Boeing Company's Boeing Enterprise Security (BES) organization is currently seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Architect to join the Monitoring, Intelligence & Response team in various locations across the United States. The selected candidate will utilize programming, system administration and data analytics skills to deliver security information and event management (SIEM) and security orchestration. They will be responsible for automation and response (SOAR) solutions and services, both on-prem and cloud to support 24/7 security operations, incident response, and forensics. Position Responsibilities: Manage one or more products within the team's portfolio; driving current and future system architecture. Design, test, and deploy modifications, upgrades, and fixes to one or more SIEM and SOAR solutions while collaboratively working within the team and partner organizations. Identify, evaluate, and document complex security monitoring and data collection requirements. Lead troubleshooting and mitigation activities to quickly resolve platform and data issues, and to ensure application robustness and security. Provide expert guidance and interpretation of Boeing Enterprise Security policies and procedures. Lead the development and optimization of processes to improve security data collection and monitoring practices. Mentor, guide and optimize the software application development practices within the team. Maintain a keen awareness of a broad set of security threats, trends and research, with fluency in current events and standards in the security community. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 5+ years of experience in designing, deploying and managing security monitoring solutions. 3+ years of experience in defining and identifying security data collection requirements. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Current security certification, such as CISSP, Security+. Experience with the software development lifecycle. Experience with developing in Python. Experience with SQL and Graph databases. Experience with developing project and software development documentation. Experience as a systems administrator, preferably Linux and/or Unix. Experience with system compliance (i.e., patching, disaster recovery, etc.). Experience with computer networking and network protocols. Experience with different cloud environments and related security challenges. Experience in at least one (1) of the following cybersecurity domains: authentication, authorization, identification, federation, security event monitoring, incident response. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Summary pay range: $114,750 - $178,250.
