The Role As CFO, you will be a key strategic partner to the CEO , overseeing financial planning, capital strategy, risk management, and operational efficiency. You will play a crucial role in fundraising , managing investor relations, and ensuring financial scalability as we expand. Key Responsibilities Financial Strategy & Leadership - Develop and execute a scalable financial strategy that aligns with the company's rapid growth and market expansion. Lead forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning to drive profitability and efficiency. Capital & Fundraising - Lead equity and debt financing efforts, securing capital from VCs, institutional investors, and strategic partners. Manage relationships with financial institutions and oversee investment structuring. Investor Relations - Act as the primary liaison for investors, preparing financial presentations, growth reports, and strategic updates. Ensure transparency and strong financial storytelling. Risk & Compliance - Establish robust financial controls , risk management frameworks, and compliance processes to meet regulatory requirements. Oversee audits and financial governance. Operational & Revenue Optimization - Identify efficiencies in financial operations, revenue streams, and cost structures to maximize growth potential. Leadership & Culture - Build and mentor a high-performing finance team , fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and results. Ideal Candidate Profile 10+ years of financial leadership experience , with at least 5 years in a CFO or senior finance role (VP Finance, Controller, etc.), ideally in FinTech, SaaS, payments, or financial services . Fundraising & Capital Markets Expertise - Proven success in raising venture capital, managing investor relations, and scaling financial operations in high-growth environments. Strategic Financial Acumen - Strong track record of managing FP&A, M&A, revenue growth, and risk management in a fast-scaling company. Regulatory & Compliance Knowledge - Experience navigating the regulatory landscape in financial services, payments, or banking . Tech-Savvy & Data-Driven - Deep understanding of financial analytics, automation tools, and financial software (NetSuite, Adaptive Insights, etc.) .
