Landmark Hospitality is looking for a great professional to fill our Maí®tre D' position! Landmark Hospitality is a leader in the hospitality industry, owning and operating unique and iconic venues such as the Liberty House, Stone House, the Ryland Inn, and Crave Events in New Jersey as well as Hotel Du Village and the Logan Inn in Pennsylvania. This diversified hospitality company specializes in upscale restaurants, event spaces, and boutique hotels and is growing, providing exciting opportunities for the right individuals. Responsibilities: Orchestrating the service during private dining functions Supervising and directing all aspects of the service, catering procedures, organizing and setting up the dining room Overseeing and hands-on managing private dinners and banquets Supervising banquet service staff, as well as food-runners and bus persons Meeting with potential clients and providing venue information Planning, designing, and producing events while managing all project delivery elements within time limits Liaising with clients to identify their needs and ensure customer satisfaction Conducting market research, gathering information, and negotiating contracts prior to closing any deals Providing feedback and periodic reports to management Demonstrating proven event management experience Maintaining an impressive portfolio of previously managed events Exhibiting excellent time management and communication skills Possessing sales skills and the ability to build productive business relationships Managing multiple projects independently Demonstrating MS Office proficiency Willingness to submit references from previous clients Experience with catering software programs Landmark Hospitality is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
