Apply Job Type Full-time Description Summary Responsible for operation group training and updating all SOPs and instructions for operating production systems and equipment. Plant knowledge and experience is essential for this role to troubleshoot process problems and for making recommendations in process improvements. Essential Responsibilities and Duties * Manage training program for production department which includes maintaining and training on all SOPs and instructions for process systems and equipment. * Regularly audit SOPs throughout plant operations. * Participate in plant operations to support troubleshooting plant issues and make recommendations to improve operator interface with plant equipment and DCS. * Provide necessary backup for support of production, including on-call responsibilities, as needed. * Promote company goals and values, including honesty, integrity and hard work safety and a team mentality culture. * Any other duties assigned by the production manager. Requirements Qualifications * Demonstrated ability to train people and develop individuals. * Expert level working knowledge of ethanol plant operations. * Understanding of process and regulatory limitations. * Good people and communication skills. * Good organizational skills. * A motivation to achieve positive results. * A devotion to performing work safely. * Ability to create a team-oriented environment. * Valid driver's license required. Education and Experience * Experience in training and team building preferred. * Minimum 5 years of plant operations and/or supervisorial experience. * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Products with emphasis in Word, Excel, Power Point and any other applicable software, as needed. * Intimate knowledge of ethanol processing or related bio-fuels experience.
