Field Technician

Field Technician Location: Orlando, FL Job ID: #70504 Pay Range: $17-21 AN HOUR 12 MONTH CONTRACT * Unloading & Inventory: Unload trucks, inventory equipment, and stage items for installation. * Equipment Installation: Position and install UPS units, PDU units, and other critical infrastructure. * Cabling & Connections: Route and connect server room cables, blue power cables, and install circuit breakers. Perform rack connections and disk deployments as specified. * Mechanical & Electrical Work: Install and maintain mechanical systems such as air conditioning ductwork, high bay ducting, and GPS antennas. Handle electrical tasks including UPS power-up, circuit breaker installation, and electrical lockout/tagout. * System Configuration: Complete system integrations including IOS desk configurations, EPO systems, and power verification. Install and configure network components and perform system checks. * Documentation & Reporting: Mark equipment positions on the floor, complete debriefing tasks, and provide detailed reports on installation progress and issues. * Must be experienced with Hand Tools (drill, hammer, wrenches, screwdrivers), Dexterity, Quality Standards, Electrical Schematics, Assembly Drawings, Electrical Equipment and Lean Manufacturing * Active Passport Required * Travel Required 60% of the time * Travel length varies between 1-4 weeks with breaks in between trips * Various military base locations, domestic and overseas(Bahrain, Japan, Belgium, Poland, Italy) * Travel will be 80% overseas and 20% domestic * First trip is scheduled to Bahrain ins January 2025 * No vaccination requirements for any trips * Travel time to assignment location will be paid to contractor * Must be experienced with Hand Tools (drill, hammer, wrenches, screwdrivers), Dexterity, Quality Standards, Electrical Schematics, Assembly Drawings, Electrical Equipment and Lean Manufacturing * Must be mechanically inclined with some sort of service technician/installation experience Benefits provided: 401K, medical, dental, and vision, sick time as applicable to state law Butler America Aerospace, LLC. is proud to provide an equal opportunity workplace and be an affirmative action employer.
