As the Senior Director of Payments Partnerships at RealPage, you will spearhead the strategic management and expansion of our relationships with key payment vendors. This pivotal role requires a dynamic leader who can align our business objectives with the capabilities of our partners, driving mutual growth and success on a global scale. Our current portfolio of payments partners spans ~20 companies in fintech, issuing and processing, including but not limited to Visa, AMEX, Jack Henry, Flex, JP Morgan Chase. Your strategic vision and expertise in partnership management will be instrumental in positioning RealPage as a leader in the payments industry. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Strategic Partnership Leadership Stay at the forefront of industry trends, regulatory developments, and technological innovations that could impact our business operations and partnerships. Conduct in-depth analyses of financial statements and partner performance metrics to identify opportunities for enhancement and strategic growth. Lead monthly reconciliations to evaluate partner scorecards and performance, identifying areas for optimization and improvement. Drive initiatives to enhance partner performance, foster growth, and proactively address potential challenges. Assess and streamline overlapping or redundant vendor relationships across RealPage's businesses, consolidating partnerships with the most strategic, high-performing vendors. Performance Evaluation and Optimization Oversee the reconciliation of partner agreements and invoices, ensuring alignment with contractual terms and business goals Work with BD leadership and legal to negotiate contracts, optimizing costs and performance. Proactively identify and address performance gaps or issues with partners to prevent disruptions and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and SLAs. Evaluate the economic and strategic value of each partnership, ensuring alignment with RealPage's overarching business objectives. Operational Excellence Collaborate with the procurement team to manage the creation and oversight of purchase orders related to payment partnerships. Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies that align seamlessly with RealPage's global payment strategy. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across all relevant departments, ensuring smooth execution of partnership initiatives. Conduct regular business reviews with key stakeholders, maintaining alignment and addressing emerging challenges with agility. Relationship Management Act as the principal point of contact for all partner relations, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and deep engagement. Support the procurement team in negotiating and upholding partner agreements, balancing RealPage's interests with the need for mutually beneficial relationships. Lead training initiatives for both partners and internal teams on best practices for cultivating, nurturing, and optimizing partnerships. QUALIFICATIONS (Use to include the minimum qualification for the position - education and years of experience, travel required) Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; MBA strongly preferred. A minimum of 10 years of proven experience in partnership management or business development within the payments industry. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES (List the concepts, capabilities developed through training, and innate traits and talents that a person brings to a task or situation) Exceptional analytical skills, with a strong ability to interpret complex financial data and industry trends. Superior communication, negotiation, and relationship-building capabilities, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels. Demonstrated expertise in project management and cross-functional collaboration. Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance standards in the payments sector.
