Senior Network Administrator

Mechanics Bank is seeking their next Sr. Network Administrator to sit out of our Roseville, Walnut Creek, or Irvine office. Under supervision/general guidance, to analyze, maintain, and troubleshoot network architecture for optimization, efficient traffic flow, maximum systems availability, and interfacing with third-party communication providers to ensure maximum throughput and availability for the Bank's information systems resources and applications. Provide network support to ITOps, SecOps, and IT DevOps teams as needed. What you will be doing: Providing network administration and support. Assist in tracking security vulnerabilities. Track audit requirements. Assist in maintenance of all network infrastructure-related systems and applications while monitoring and troubleshooting network performance issues. Maintain network documentation. Manage network incidents and ticketing system. Manage the network monitoring/alerting systems, review performance logs, and monitor system performance while responding to alerts and incidents as required. Who you are: Minimum of 5 years of experience is required. CCNA required. CCNP preferred. Bachelor's degree preferably in Computer Science or related field preferred, or comparable work experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Support and administration experience with Cisco switches, routers, Meraki, Firewalls, Cisco ISE, Cisco SDWAN, and SD-Access. TCP/IP Routing protocols with Cisco Technologies, including MPLS, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, DMVPN, OMP. Knowledge and experience of Ethernet and TCP/IP protocols. Knowledge and experience of operating system architectures, characteristics, commands, and components applicable to computer platforms/operating environments, including (but not limited to): Cisco routers/switches, Firewalls - Adaptive Security Appliances (ASA), Firepower, Palo Alto, and Fortinet, Cisco ISE, Cisco Nexus, Cisco ACI, Meraki, Splunk, AAA. Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects, activities, and tasks simultaneously. Team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently with no supervision. Ability to stay current, learn, and implement new technologies and responsibilities. Pay Range: $72,000 - $120,000 annually Final compensation package will be determined by the work experience, education, and/or skill level of the applicant along with internal equity and alignment with geographic market data.
