Siepe is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with proven expertise in managing operating systems and networking. This role demands deep proficiency in administering Windows and Linux operating systems and advanced networking capabilities, including troubleshooting IP networks, configuring firewalls, managing VPNs, and working with wireless access points. Candidates must also have extensive experience in designing, building, and maintaining Microsoft Active Directory environments. In addition to strong technical skills, the ideal candidate will excel in automation and workflow optimization using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and PowerShell. This is a high-impact role for a professional passionate about driving innovation, ensuring scalability, and delivering secure and efficient cloud-based solutions. Responsibilities Manage and optimize Windows and Linux operating systems, ensuring stability, performance, and security. Architect, build, and maintain robust Microsoft Active Directory environments across multiple sites. Troubleshoot and resolve complex IP networking issues, including Layer 3 routing, firewall configuration, VPNs, and wireless access point management. Design, automate, and implement cloud infrastructure solutions using IaC tools like Terraform and PowerShell. Provide technical leadership in cloud deployments, workflow optimizations, and infrastructure provisioning. Serve as a subject matter expert in networking, cloud systems, security protocols (SAML2, SSO, IdP), and Privileged Access Management (PAM). Collaborate with senior leadership and clients to deliver tailored, high-quality solutions. Work can average 45-50 hours per week. Mandatory Qualifications Extensive experience managing both Windows and Linux operating systems in enterprise environments. Advanced networking expertise, including Layer 3 routing, firewall configuration, IP troubleshooting, site-to-site VPN management, and wireless network administration. Proficiency in Microsoft Active Directory, including multi-site domain architecture, GPO, DNS, DHCP, DFS/DFSR, and NPS configurations. Strong skills in NTFS permissions, file server management, and complex DFS/DFSR setups. Scripting and automation expertise with tools like Terraform and PowerShell. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Must be authorized to work in the US without the need for current or future sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications Experience in the Managed Services Provider (MSP) industry, particularly in Alternative Investment Management. Familiarity with configuration management tools and DevOps methodologies. 2-3 years of experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Office 365. Knowledge of SAML2, SSO, and Identity Providers (IdP) for secure identity management. Experience with Privileged Access Management (PAM) systems and automation tools like Terraform. Additional Information Some after-hours or weekend maintenance may be required.
