Lead DevOps Engineer

Location: Winston Salem, North Carolina (Onsite) Duration: 6 + Months Contact: Phone + Skype Job Description: Must be Vaccinated: Scope of Work: The Lead DevOps Engineer is tasked with the management and development of continuous integration and deployment solutions for production applications across various sites/software. The Lead role spearheads the creation of new technology infrastructures and maintains configuration management and automation tools. The Lead role enables the automation of configuration management of all development, quality assurance, and production servers as well as the automation of continuous integration and continuous delivery. Job Overview: Work with development teams to design and facilitate the implementation of solutions to maximize software delivery performance. Ensure alignment of development needs and timelines with infrastructure capacity and capabilities in the cloud. Plan, manage, and provide systems infrastructure and application support in the cloud. Evaluate solution options and make buy vs. build recommendations. Responsibilities: Develop and implement DevOps operational best practices while maintaining agility. Take ownership of and keep environments up and running. Provide strategy for building DevOps pipeline. SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES: 5+ years' experience as a DevOps Lead. Exposure to tool set: Github, GithubAction, Magento, PHP, Ansible, Terraform. Strong experience liaising with software developers and engineers, including fostering best practices around scalability, security, and cost management. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering and 10 years demonstrated work experience or an equivalent combination of related training and experience. Interested in this role?
