Senior Infrastructure Engineer - Platform Pod Join TriumphX! Position Summary The Senior Infrastructure Engineer - Platform Pod will deliver the design infrastructure solutions at TriumphX. They'll build, manage, and improve the infrastructure systems at Triumph Financial across the enterprise Lines of Business, providing services in support of the day-to-day operations, critical projects, and strategic growth of the business. The Platform Pod, Senior Infrastructure Engineer will be expected to continually interact with and support managers and users with varying technical backgrounds in a fast-paced work environment. Here is the day-to-day of this job: Proactively gather information and utilize analytical and creative problem-solving skills to create efficient, secure, and reliable solutions for the business. Provide general and routine maintenance support including installation, patching, configuration, backups, and updates. Act as the subject matter expert for the entire technical ecosystem. Create and maintain documents for procedures/processes and infrastructure architecture/topology diagrams. Collaborate with team members and software vendors to design, implement, and test systems. Accountable for use of services, handling of sensitive data, and resolving incidents and requests in compliance with FFIEC regulations. Assist the company by continuing to follow FDIC regulations and remaining SOX compliant. Research and stay current with advances in technologies; recommend change and updates accordingly. Identify areas of improvement and proactively develop plans to improve infrastructure architecture. Manage production and pre-production technology systems in a hybrid cloud/datacenter environment. Responsible for automating building systems and deploying applications. Create automation through modern scripting methods such as PowerShell, Python, VBS, etc. Design, manage, and support Active Directory and related services. Respond to tickets and all other issues in a timely manner according to response SLA. Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation. Design and implement all infrastructure resources (network, server, storage, packaged applications). Tune and refine existing systems to reduce Help Desk workload by preventing tickets from recurring. Work with vendors to quote and deliver performant and cost-efficient solutions. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs. Qualifications to be successful in the position: Bachelor's degree in Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or equivalent work experience. Technical certification in Microsoft, Cisco, and/or VMware. 5+ years' experience in an IT technical leadership role in either Systems Engineering or Network Engineering. Experience across Windows Desktop and Server, VMware, and Microsoft 365 technologies. Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, firewalls, and routing and switching. Experience with mergers and acquisitions, domain consolidation, and Office 365 migrations is a strong plus. Proven interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with managers and users with varying technical backgrounds in a fast-paced work environment. Strong work ethic, time management, and organizational skills. Ability to oversee multiple tasks with a sense of urgency while maintaining attention to detail. Must be able to receive and follow instructions given by management and develop solutions to unique problems. Ability to provide excellent customer service while meeting strict deadlines. Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to adapt to changing work situations and procedures. Hands-on project management skills to ensure the timely completion of work. Ability to leverage tools to perform day-to-day administration tasks, root-cause analysis, and service restoration. Ability to quickly grasp new concepts. Motivated and engaged in personal and staff professional development and training. Ability to thoroughly explore and research the depths of an issue and remain persistent in understanding the root cause of issues. Possess an eagerness to learn and obtain technical certifications. Ability to develop collaborative and positive working relationships. Work Environment Requires onsite presence; no remote work from home during business hours unless approved otherwise. Requires working during non-business hours, on weekends, and on a rotational on-call basis. Moderate noise (i.e., business office with computers, phone, and printers, light traffic). Ability to work in a confined area. Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Occasional stooping or kneeling may be necessary. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard and telephone.
