Easy Apply now by clicking the "Apply" buttonand sending us your resume.Salary: $65,000 - $78,000 per yearA bit about us:For several decades, we have been a firm where lawyers and professional staff pursue cases and causes they can be proud of.Rather than a job, we strive to create a workplace that fosters careers by valuing ambition, talent and hard work in our staff, and taking a principled and focused approach to our work.Throughout the years, we've grown and evolved alongside our team and are proud that many devote their entire careers to the firm and the causes we pursue.Why join us?Boutique Firm With Amazing Team AtmosphereRoom For GrowthManageable Case LoadCollegial EnvironmentFull BenefitsJob DetailsWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Commercial and Business Litigation Legal Assistant to join our team.The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on commercial and business litigation.This role requires exceptional attention to detail, the ability to perform well under strict deadlines, and strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and ensure precise and timely task completion.Responsibilities:Provide administrative support to two or more lawyers.Answer phone calls, take messages, and redirect calls when appropriate.Maintain regular communication with supervising attorneys.File maintenance involving keeping all calendar items current, notes up to date, and files in the proper order.Monitor calendars to ensure all items are current and up to date.Draft pleadings, monitor and obtain discovery responses, and organize materials for team review to support case preparation.Skills/Qualifications:5+ years of experience as a litigation legal assistant.Commercial or construction litigation experience is preferred.Must know state, federal, and complex business court rules.Keen attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software.Experience with PerfectLaw is a plus.Proficiency with Microsoft Office.Knowledge of state and federal court procedures.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Interested in hearing more?
