Ideal candidate has management experience or ready to lead their own team. PE license is highly preferred.Why join us?Excellent work environmentTraining and professional developmentCompetitive salaryOutstanding health & dental insuranceExceptional 401K retirement planPaid holidays and vacationJob DetailsResponsibilities:Design mechanical systems for large central cooling and heating plants, including boilers, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, large bore piping, and control systemsPerform engineering calculations such as heat and mass balance, code compliance analysis, hydraulic modeling, energy analysis, and pipe stress analysisProvide technical direction, guidance, and mentorship to team members, including mechanical engineers and designersTake initiative in completing design and analysis tasks for project submission packages, which include drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and design narrativesCollaborate with project managers, team members, other disciplines, and external consultants to address design coordination and issuesParticipate in construction administration by attending meetings, reviewing shop drawings, conducting site visits, and documenting progressRequirements:Possess strong leadership, teamwork, communication, and customer service skillsHold a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institutionLicensed as a Professional Engineer with over 7 years of experience in engineering design and construction administrationProficient in designing using Autodesk Revit for Building Information Modeling (BIM)Experienced in conducting fieldwork and documenting existing engineering conditionsPreferred qualifications:Experience with institutional infrastructure systemsExperience with ASME B31.1 Power Piping CodeInterested in hearing more?
