The VP of Clinical Operations will play a pivotal role in the company's mission to satisfy unmet medical needs and enhance the benefits of healthcare for patients, families, and caregivers. This senior leadership position is responsible for the strategic and operational management of all clinical trial activities, ensuring they are conducted efficiently, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory standards. The successful candidate will lead and mentor a team of clinical operations staff, oversee the execution of end-to-end clinical trials, and maintain high-quality standards consistent with Good Clinical Practice. Key responsibilities for the VP of Clinical Operations include managing the clinical operations function, developing and implementing strategic and operational strategies, and ensuring the successful execution of clinical studies in alignment with project plans. The role also involves overseeing the TMF department, providing training and oversight to employees and CROs, and managing the safety alert reporting departments. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an advanced degree preferred, and a proven track record in clinical operations. They must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be adept at engaging with regulatory agencies, and have experience in leading large global clinical trial teams. The role requires a deep understanding of the clinical trial process, from planning to close-out, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
