This role is pivotal in developing and implementing short- and long-term engagement strategies to meet the organization's employee and employer engagement objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving participation growth, including enrollment and member persistency. This is an agile leadership position that requires a deep understanding of the group insurance business, as well as experience with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) approach. The VP will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and deliver market-leading solutions, ensuring that the employee is at the center of all engagement activities. Key responsibilities include leading a team, staying abreast of market trends, and leveraging data to drive business growth and operational efficiency. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in group insurance, with a strong background in the business and technology aspects of the industry. The role demands a strategic thinker with the ability to develop and prioritize the organization's vision, and to manage large transformational programs. Strong interpersonal, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills are essential, as is the ability to build strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree, with an MBA or advanced degree being preferred. The role requires a leader who can think critically, challenge assumptions, and drive the best solutions, while also being consultative and seeking diverse perspectives. The VP should be adept at negotiation, and be accountable for the delivery of business documentation, with a focus on the customer experience.
