Vice President, Payroll Assistant About the Company Top international bank IndustryBanking TypePrivately Held About the Role The Company is seeking a Payroll Assistant Vice President to oversee its semi-monthly payroll process across multiple states in the US. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and recording all HR, payroll, and benefits data into the company's HRIS system, performing various payroll account reconciliations, and resolving any discrepancies. This role also involves processing termination payouts, off-cycle check requests, and assisting with employment tax filings and other regulatory reporting requirements. The Payroll Assistant Vice President will play a key role in ensuring that payroll processing is in compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations, as well as assisting with month-end and year-end close and audits. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree, 5-7 years' of experience in payroll processing, and a strong understanding of the full life cycle of payroll operations. Knowledge of payroll systems and reporting functions is essential. The role requires a detail-oriented individual with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin and English is a mandatory requirement for this position. The ideal candidate will be proactive, have excellent problem-solving skills, and be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity in all aspects of the role.
