The Parks Department is hiring seasonal employees to work in the Parks for the summer. Work may include: * Perform general grounds maintenance, including mowing, trimming, weeding and aerating * Perform landscape and clean up duties, including trash and debris removal * Assist with tree planting, pruning and removal * Set up for reservations and special events * Inspect, maintain and repair benches, picnic tables, receptacles, playground structures & signs * Repair vandalism and other damage * Pay starts at $14.90 Acceptable Experience and Training * High school diploma or GED equivalency; or * Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work. * Valid driver's license required. * At least 18 years of age.
